GoGoGardens

If you’re short on time and space but would like to have fresh herbs or vegetables to hand, a GoGoGarden could be the answer. A handy storage unit with a mini garden on top, the GoGo comes pre-planted with herbs such as rosemary, thyme, basil, mint and chives. Planting baskets drop into the top of the unit, making it easy to change your selection of crops and there’s a waterproof membrane around them to prevent leaks. Suitable for indoor or outdoor use, the GoGoGarden is available in single, double and triple sizes and in six different colours. Bespoke planting schemes and colours are available on request.

The Triple GoGo, pictured, comes with three planting baskets and twelve plants and costs £450 while the Double GoGo is £350 and the Single GoGo is £250, www.gogogardens.com

CEL DM20 Self Propelled Rotary Lawn Mower

CEL, the company best-known for the POWER8 workshop and for their appearance on the BBC TV programme Dragons’ Den, have developed a range of gardening tools, the newest of which is the CEL DM20 Self Propelled Mower. Unlike many conventional mowers, it has two motors, one to propel the blades and one to drive the rear wheels at a steady walking pace. This means you’ll only need to guide the mower up and down, and once you’re done, you can move it around easily without engaging the blades. Battery-powered, the CEL DM20 can mow for about an hour on one charge, which should be long enough to finish trimming most lawns. The mower also offers side, rear or mulch discharge meaning clippings can either be collected, left on the grass or chopped up into a mulch to feed the lawn.

The CEL DM20 costs £379.90, www.cel-uk.com

Boskke Sky Planter Recycled

Loved the idea of Boskke’s upside-down planters but thought they were a little too pricey? Well, it might be time to reconsider because a more affordable version of the Sky Planter is now available, which is made from recycled plastic rather than ceramic. Slightly off-white in colour, the planters come with a choice of two hanging wires and have a water level indicator so you can easily see when it’s time to top up the in-built reservoir.

The Boskke Sky Planter Recycled comes in three sizes: small, £9.95, medium, £19.95 and large, £29.95, www.boskke.com
