New product: Twool

You can support plants in the city and rare sheep in the country with Twool, a garden twine made from the wool of the ‘at risk’ Whiteface Dartmoor. It’s soft, strong, will last for at least a year in the garden and is, of course, totally renewable. Nine British industries are involved in Twool’s manufacture including scourers who convert the waste material into slug repellent and slow-release fertiliser and spinners who use recycled machines.

Twool costs £3.65 for 35m and is available in six colours: rust, green, chocolate, mink, natural and yellow.
